Current status of the Community Energy Plan

Oct 20. Kickoff meeting

Community Open House Workshops are completed and we had good turn out at most of the workshops.  We will now focus on plan development, leading up to presentation of a draft plan to the KNC on February 5th, 2010.

City Green Solutions Residential Energy Efficiency Training took place February 1st and 2nd, 2010.   8 students participated, with representation from all 4 bands, and from KNC Staff.

The KNC Staff and Council workshop to review the draft CEP outline took place February 5th, 2010.  It was a great success, and we received important feedback that will ensure the final product meets the unique context and needs of the KNC and the band communities.
